Adhesive application device

The method involves providing a flowable adhesive for a dosing device (1) e.g. dosing valve, transfer valve and electro-pneumatic 2/2-way valve, determining viscosity of the adhesive in the dosing device, and pressurizing the adhesive. The provided adhesive is dosed to a nozzle (170) of the dosing device by closing and opening of a closure device (160) for the nozzle. Electric voltage is applied between an outlet of the nozzle and a component at the outlet, so that particles of the adhesive generated during dosing are advanced and absorbed by the electro-statically charged component. An independent claim is also included for an adhesive application device comprising a dosing device.
