PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manufacture a fiber substrate which enables continuous manufacturing with less variation in short fiber quantity among products, while preventing damage to a metal mold.SOLUTION: A method of stacking short fibers in a cylindrical metal mold by preparing slurry which is formed by dispersing the short fibers in dispersion media, supplying the slurry in the cylindrical metal mold, and discharging the dispersion media from the cylindrical metal mold. The manufacturing process includes: (a) a step of supplying the slurry from above of the cylindrical metal mold toward a slurry dispersion pin of a circular cone or pyramid shape with a sharp tip and arranged in the center of the cylindrical metal mold; (b) a step of removing the short fiber attached to the slurry dispersion pin by pouring the same dispersion media or water toward the slurry dispersion pin from above after the (a) step, and (c) a step of discharging the dispersion media from the cylindrical metal mold and stacking the short fibers in the cylindrical metal mold to produce a fiber aggregate. |
