A contact terminal assembling structure free from malfunction or variation in operating characteristic is provided. Movable contact plate assembly 50 is fixed to one end of movable contact terminal 40 by using swaging projection 41. One end of the movable contact terminal is supported by pressing it into groove 13 of base 10. The rear edge of the one end of the movable contact plate assembly 50 has at least one a fitting projection 54f which projects beyond the swaging projection 41 in condition where the contact terminal its inserted in the groove.
