The invention relates to a moving bottom (1) intended to equip a pool basin (2), to be at the bottom of the basin (2) in order to allow persons to bathe, or in an upper position (C) to cover the basin in order to form a protection against drowning, characterised in that this moving bottom (1) comprises a main body (4) and a cover (6a) hinged to said body (4) so as to be movable between: - a closed position in which this cover (6a) extends the main body (4) to cover a staircase (3) of the basin (2) when the moving bottom (1) is in the upper position (C); - and an open position in which this cover (6a) is folded onto the upper face of the main body (4) to expose the staircase (3) of the basin (2) when the moving bottom (1) is in the lower position (A). |
