METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR DETECTING LOW WATER LEVEL IN HEATPUMP BOILER SYSTEM

Disclosed are a device and a method to detect a lower water level of a heat pump boiler system. The system is capable of starting a count when an off-signal is generated by periodically confirming a water level detection signal from a lower water level sensor, which is on-signal or off-signal, but increasing a count value by maintaining count operation when the following water level detection signal is the off-signal, and determining the water level of a heat storage tank when the count value exceeds a preset standard. Even if the count is started as the off-signal is generated one time or more, the count operation is stopped and the count value is reset when the on-signal is followed. Therefore, the accuracy of low water level detection is improved and the system stability and reliability are secured by coping with temporary malfunction of the low water level sensor or external noise.
