The present invention relates to a primer of GB-C, and GB-MS separated from ginkgo trees and uses thereof, and more particularly, to a primer for distinguishing a gender of ginkgo trees and a method for distinguishing a gender of a ginkgo tree wherein the primer includes a pair of GB-C primers comprising a nucleotide sequence of SEQ ID NO: 1 and 2, or a pair of GB-MS primers comprising a nucleotide sequence of SEQ ID NO: 3 and 4. It is possible to distinguish a gender of ginkgo trees stably and accurately by using pairs of GB-C and GB-MS of the present invention. In addition, due to gender detection of ginkgo seedlings, it becomes possible to discern female ginkgo trees used in roadside at an early stage and therefore, it is possible to reduce a budget waste including replacement and management expenses related to female ginkgo trees, and to contribute to profit growth for agricultural farmhouses producing ginkgo through early selection of female ginkgo trees. |
