METHOD OF DISTANCE MEASUREMENT USING LIGHT AND DEVICE THEREOF

The present invention relates to a distance measurement method to measure a distance using light and a device thereof. A distance sensor to measure a distance using light comprises: a light output unit adapted to be capable of rotation, and to output light; a sensing unit to sense light reflected from an outdoor article by the outputted light; a drive unit to change the rotation angle of the light output unit; a protective unit which is formed to surround the light output unit, and is translucently or transparently formed to penetrate the outputted light and the reflected light; and a controller to change the rotation angle of the light output unit using the drive unit to change the path of the outputted light, when the sensed reflected light is different from a measurement value of previously stored standard light.
