摘要 According to an aspect of the invention, a lighting device (100) for illuminating a secondary surface (200), thereby providing indirect illumination via reflection from the illuminated secondary surface is provided. The lighting device comprises a light source, a collimator arranged to collimate light from the light source, and redirecting means (120) arranged to redirect at least a portion of the collimated light into a range of directions towards the secondary surface. The intensity of redirected light increases with the angle of the direction of the redirected light relative to a normal to the secondary surface from a first intensity value to a second intensity value. The ratio of the second intensity value to the first intensity value is between 25 and 400. The present invention uses the concept of shaping the light intensity distribution of the lighting device in order to increase the possible illumination area of the lighting device.
