<p>Embodiments relate to a concept for sliding window decoding a signal which is encoded with an LDPC convolutional code having a parity check matrix. A new frame (1030) of reliability information of the encoded signal is provided (902) to an input portion (1012-I) of a window (1012) of reliability information. A number of decoding iterations is executed (904) using a part of the parity check matrix and the window (1012) of reliability information. If a frame (1254) of reliability information in an output portion (1012-O) of the window (1012) of reliability information has been correctly decoded, said frame (1254) is forwarded from the output portion (1012-O) to a hard decision entity, the remaining frames of reliability information are shifted in the window (1012) toward the output portion (1012-O), and a new frame (1030) of reliability information of the encoded signal is provided (902) to the input portion (1012-I) of the decoding window (1012).</p> |
