<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stabilize combustion just after finishing a fuel cut. <P>SOLUTION: When resuming fuel supply by returning from the fuel cut, transitional control is performed by dividedly performing fuel injection into a cylinder in a plurality of times, and the temperature in a combustion chamber is raised while stabilizing the combustion by stratified combustion. A rate of an injection quantity of fuel injected on and after a second time and an injection quantity of the fuel injected before it in the transitional control, is set in response to the EGR ratio or an EGR quantity when returning from the fuel cut, and a rate of the injection quantity of the former is increased as the EGR ratio or the EGR quantity increases. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
