The present invention relates to a rubber composition for a tire tread cap and a method for mixing the same. More specifically, the rubber composition including a base polymer includes: N-cyclohexyl-2-benzothiazyl sulphenamide as an accelerant; 55-75 wt% of sulfur as a vulcanizing agent, 30-40 wt% of an elastomer binder and a dispersant; and 1,6-bis(N,N-dibenzylthiocarbamoyldithio)-hexane as a crosslinking agent. Therefore, braking and grip performance of tire tread rubber based on handling and thermal stability during driving is enhanced.
