The present invention relates to a SCR catalyst using vanadium supported on a carbon material and a manufacturing method thereof and, specifically, to a SCR catalyst which can be easily manufactured with excellent wear resistance and strength. Accordingly, the present invention comprises a first step for mixing a vanadium (V_2O_5) carrier, titanium dioxide (TiO_2), and tungsten oxide (WO_3); a second step for extruding the mixture in the desired shape using a vacuum extruder; and a third step for plasticizing after drying the extrudate.
