<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an on-vehicle electronic device and the like capable of calling a driver's attention more properly than ever. <P>SOLUTION: The on-vehicle electronic device judges whether there is a sign or not in forward image data photographed by a vehicle outside photographing camera (S110). When judging that there is a sign (S110:Y), the device adds a weight based on a type of the traffic sign at S130, so as to determine whether to suppress notification based on the type of the traffic sign (S200) or not (S180, S190). Therefore, the problem that frequent notifications of signs whose weight is low bother the driver and the driver misses important signs due to much habituation of frequency notifications, resulting in that no proper calling of attention can be performed is solved.
