The present invention relates to a three-dimensional image generation method. The method can be used to generate a three-dimensional image without a blank space while maintaining the original size of a subject. According to the present invention, the three-dimensional image generation method obtains the three-dimensional image by shooting the subject by a pair of cameras arranged to be spaced apart from each other in parallel and merging the two images. The method includes the steps of: shooting the subject by the cameras arranged to be spaced apart in a size smaller than a reference size which is the size of the subject in the final three-dimensional image to be generated; enlarging the pair of images to match the size of the subject to the reference size; and generating the three-dimensional image by merging the pair of enlarged images.
