<p>Disclosed are a method for providing information by an IPTV, and the IPTV thereof. According to the present invention, the method comprises the steps of: requesting, from the terminal, information on a sensor included in a terminal connected to an IPTV; receiving information on the sensor from the terminal to display information on a first application which the IPTV can execute by using the sensor included in the terminal, and to display information on a second application which the IPTV can not execute by using the sensor included in the terminal by separating the same from the information on the first application; and including, in the information on the second application, information on the sensor which is additionally requested for execution of the second application. Also, disclosed are a method for providing information by a server, which extracts application information to provide the same to the IPTV, and the server thereof.</p> |
