<p>The present invention relates to an apparatus and a method for determining cracked eggs without striking eggs by a vibration driving mode. The apparatus for determining cracked eggs comprises: a vibration driving unit for applying vibration to eggs while touching the eggs; a vibration response detection unit for detecting a vibration response signal, which corresponds to the vibration applied by the vibration driving unit, from the eggs; a determination unit for determining whether the eggs are cracked or not based on at least one between a resonant frequency and a Q factor (quality factor) of the vibration response signal detected by the vibration response detection unit; and a transfer unit for relatively transferring the vibration driving unit and the vibration response detection unit, or the eggs with respect to each other.</p> |
