<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simply set the output condition of data transmitted from an electronic pen. <P>SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus capable of communicating with an electronic pen for reading a specific pattern having unique position information includes: a preservation unit for preserving a specific pattern printed on a predetermined paper sheet and setting information for regulating the output condition of data to be transmitted from the electronic pen when the electronic pen is moved on the predetermined paper sheet in a storage unit by associating them with each other; a data processing unit for analyzing the data transmitted from the electronic pen and identifying the specific pattern printed on the predetermined paper sheet; a retrieval unit for retrieving the setting information associated with the identified specific pattern by referring to the information preserved in the storage unit; a setting reflection unit for reflecting the retrieved setting information on the output condition of the data transmitted from the electronic pen; and an output unit for outputting hand-written information based on the data transmitted from the electronic pen in accordance with the output condition with the retrieved setting information reflected thereon. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
