<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a backflow prevention gate which is excellent in a function of preventing liquid leakage between a lower sealing member covering a pivot part of a door body and an inner side face of a flow path. <P>SOLUTION: A backflow prevention gate 10 comprises: a door body 14 which is pivoted so as to be freely elevated and lowered through a bearing member 13 on a bottom surface 12 of a flow path 11 and is erected by buoyancy to close the flow path 11 when a water amount on the downstream side of the flow path 11 increases; side sealing members 17 attached to both side edge parts 14a of the door body 14 in order to prevent water leakage between a door stop member 16 stuck to an inner side face 15 of the flow path 11 and the side edge part 14a of the door body 14; and a flexible lower sealing member 19 arranged in a direction of crossing the flow path 11 in the state of covering a pivot part 18 of the door body 14 from the upstream side of the flow path 11 in order to prevent the water leakage between the bottom surface 12 of the flow path 11 and a lower edge part 14b of the door body 14.
