摘要 <p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a redox flow cell (RF cell) capable of producing high electromotive force. <P>SOLUTION: An RF cell 1A performs charging/discharging operations by supplying a battery element 100c containing a positive electrode, a negative electrode, and a barrier membrane 101 with a positive electrode electrolyte including a manganese ion, and a negative electrode electrolyte including a vanadium ion and a titanium ion. A positive electrode tank 10 is connected with a positive electrode charging piping 11c that supplies the battery element 100c with the positive electrode electrolyte when charging, and is connected with a positive electrode discharging piping 11d that supplies the battery element 100c with the positive electrode electrolyte when discharging. Since the positive electrode charing piping 11c has an opening closer to the positive electrode electrolyte liquid level in the positive electrode tank 10, the piping 11c performs charging operation adequately by efficiently supplying the battery element 100c with the charging state manganese ion while charging.
