PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ethylene copolymer excellent in moldability and easy unsealability, a thermoplastic resin composition containing the ethylene copolymer, and a molded product, a film, and a laminate film containing the film, which are formed therefrom.SOLUTION: An ethylene copolymer satisfies following requirements (I) to (V) at the same time: (I) a ratio [M/M] of the content [M(mol%)] of a methyl branch and an ethyl branch measured byC-NMR and the content [M(mol%)] of all branches measured byC-NMR is 0.30 to 1.00; (II) MFR (190°C, 2.16 kg load) is 0.1 to 100 g/10 min.; (III) a density is 875 to 970 kg/m; (IV) a ratio [MT/&eegr;(g/p)] of a melting tensile force [MT(g), 190°C] and a shear viscosity [&eegr;(P), 200°C, 1.0 rad/sec.] is 1.50×10to 9.00×10; (V) a relation between a zero shear viscosity [&eegr;(P), 200°C] and a weight average molecular weight (Mw) measured by a GPC-viscosity detector method is 0.01×10×Mw≤&eegr;o≤4.50×10×Mw; and (VI) a molecular weight (peak top M) at maximum weight fraction in a molecular weight distribution curve obtained from the GPC measurement is 1.0×10to 1.0×10. |
