<p>Apparatus for handling bales comprises a frame 4, a first elongate member 20a extending from the frame; a second elongate member 20b extending from the frame and spaced apart from the first member, the second member being moveable with respect to the first member between an open position and a closed position, in which a bale may be supported between the first and the second elongate members; and a third elongate member 20c extending from the frame and spaced apart from the second member, the third member being moveable with respect to the second member between an open position and a closed position, in which a bale may be supported between the second and third members. One or more of the elongate members may comprise an inner longitudinal member such as a spike or tine 28a and an outer longitudinal member such as a roller 30a therearound.</p> |
