<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain both high aseismatic performance and maintenance-free use. <P>SOLUTION: A concrete filled steel column includes steel columns 1, 2, filling concrete parts 6, 7 filling the steel columns 1, 2, and a pair of restraining members 4, 5 arranged in the steel columns 1, 2, and the filling concrete parts 6, 7 are separated by the pair of restraining members 4, 5 each into two in a steel column axis direction. One restraining member 4 between the pair of restraining members 4, 5 applies restraining force in a direction orthogonal to a mesh steel column axis to one filling concrete part 6 between the two separated filling concrete parts 6, 7.
