<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To mechanically remove residual sodium stuck to an inner peripheral wall surface of a core penetration sleeve formed at a nuclear reactor lid part of a fast-breeder reactor, and to enable work by remote control in the situation that radiation is blocked and an argon gas atmosphere in the inside is maintained. <P>SOLUTION: The removal device for the residual sodium stuck to the inner peripheral wall surface of a core penetration sleeve 11 formed at a nuclear reactor lid part 10 includes a freely openable and closable door valve 14 provided on the core penetration sleeve, a temporary lid storage cask 15 installed on the door valve 14, a temporary lid lifting device 16 positioned above the temporary lid storage cask 15, and a temporary lid 20, and the like. The temporary lid is suspended and lowered into the core penetration sleeve by the temporary lid lifting device, and the residual sodium stuck to the inner peripheral wall surface of the core penetration sleeve is removed by an edge part or a cutting blade at a temporary lid lower surface peripheral edge utilizing the deadweight of the temporary lid. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
