<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game machine equipped with operation means capable of preventing the pressing operation of a pressing operation portion from being nullified by the light coming from light emitting means disposed in the periphery of optical type detection means.SOLUTION: From the lower face of a bottom plate 1801a of a button base 1801, on which a button top 1804 constituting a pressing operation portion is mounted, there is protruded a protruding wall 1815 which is composed of a shading wall 1815a and a cylindrical shielding wall 1815b covering the former wall. By the shading wall 1815a moved down by the pressing operation of the pressing operation portion, the light from a projection portion 1840 of a button switch 516a disposed on the lower face of a button housing 1800 is shaded so that the pressing operation is detected. When at least the shading wall 1815a is positioned at a detection position, the periphery of the button switch 516a is covered with a covering wall 1815b so that the optical beams from button LEDs 516b to 516d in the periphery of the button switch 516a are received by a receiver 1841 thereby to prevent the detection of the pressing operation from being nullified.</p> |
