<p>The present invention relates to a system and a method for providing an online photo gallery service using a photo album or a photo frame, which is configured to allow a user to freely view photographs which were photographed using an identical studio and an identical concept to corresponding photographs by photographing photographs which are printed and stored in a photo album or a photo frame. The method for providing an online photo gallery service using a photo album or a photo frame wherein at least one of a number of photo images photographed in a studio was printed comprises the steps of: acquiring a number of photograph images photographed in the studios and storing the images in a database; extracting characteristics data by image processing real photographs when a mobile terminal photographs and transmits real photographs which exist in a real photo album or a real photo frame; and displaying photograph images through the mobile terminal by searching the database based on the characteristics data, and then screening and providing photograph images having similarity levels with the real photographs higher than a preset value.</p> |
