A diffusion sheet includes a light-transmissive base member, a plurality of structures, and a flattened portion. The light-transmissive base member has a first main surface and a second main surface. The plurality of structures have convex shapes, which are randomly formed on the first main surface. The flattened portion is formed among the plurality of structures on the first main surface and has a surface roughness (Ra) equal to or lower than 0.6 μm.

1. A diffusion sheet, comprising:
a light-transmissive base member having a first main surface and a second main surface that is opposed to the first main surface; a plurality of structures having convex shapes, which are irregularly spaced and aligned relative to one another on the first main surface; and a flattened portion which is formed among the plurality of structures on the first main surface and has a surface roughness (Ra) equal to or lower than 0.6 μm, wherein the second main surface has a surface roughness (Ra) equal to or lower than 0.5 μm, and wherein the structures have a partial hemispherical shape that is smaller than a hemisphere.
