1. A rack assembly for a dishwasher, the rack assembly comprising:
a wire frame rack having a plurality of wire elements forming a set of tines for supporting dishes in the dishwasher and a peripheral wall having an upper end, with at least a portion of the upper end having a first length; and a trim assembly having at least one trim element having a U-shaped cross-sectional configuration with an open bottom, and the upper end of the peripheral wall is slidingly received within the open bottom and at least one tolerance adjuster mounted to at least a portion of the peripheral wall upper end, with the at least one trim element and the at least one tolerance adjuster cooperating to alter an effective length of the trim assembly to correspond with the first length and thereby compensate for variation in the first length.
