1. A method of reducing arrhythmic risk in an individual with elevated intracellular NADH level, comprising the steps of:
a) providing an individual with elevated intracellular NADH level; b) lowering the intracellular NADH level to a predetermined normal level by administering to the individual a therapeutic amount of a mitochondrial targeted antioxidant; and c) wherein achieving the normal intracellular NADH level reduces arrhythmic risk in the individual. |
