A nonwoven fabric, comprising fibers of a fiber raw material containing gelatin, the fibers being provided with an antimicrobially effective agant and/or an antibiotic, with respect to the object of the invention to produce a bioresorbable nonwoven fabric with sufficient strength in a cost-effective way is characterized in that the fibers are produced by a rotating spinning method. The invention further relates to a rotating spinning method for the production of the nonwoven fabric.
