The present invention relates to a zinc complex catalyst for polymerization of monomers having a cyclic ester group, a catalyst composition including the same, a method for preparing the same and a method for preparing a polymer by using the same, wherein the zinc complex catalyst for polymerization of monomers having a cyclic ester group includes at least one among compound represented by the following Chemical Formula 1, where an iminopyridine ligand bonds to a zinc halide, and a compound represented by the following Chemical Formula 2, where an iminoquinoline ligand bonds to a zinc halide. [Chemical Formula 1] [Chemical Formula 2] In the above Chemical Formula 1 and 2, M is zinc; R_1 and R_2 represent independently a C3-C7 cycloalkyl group or C6-C12 aryl group; X is a halogen atom; R_1 and R_2 can be substituted independently with a C1-C10 alkyl group, a C3-C8 cycloalkyl group or a C6-C12 aryl group.
