<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a controller and the like capable of appropriately controlling a household electric appliance while mitigating a user's load.SOLUTION: A position information processing unit 231 communicates with a terminal device held by a user to successively receive position information showing its present position. The position information received by the position information processing unit 231 is stored in movement history information 222 to store a movement history of the user coming home. A control position determination unit 232 determines a control position before coming home on a household electric appliance to be a control target, on the basis of operation information 223, setting information 221, and the movement history information 222. A control instruction unit 235 controls the targeted household electric appliance according to the setting information 221 by using position information received by the position information processing unit 231 after the control position before coming home is determined, when the present position of the user coming home reaches the control position before coming home.</p> |
