<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an EL element that can enhance a light using efficiency and enhance durability by suppressing long-term performance degradation.SOLUTION: A protection film is disposed as a scattering layer 110 on the surface at a light extraction side of a transparent substrate for an EL element 100 in which a reflection electrode layer 102, a light emission layer 103, a transparent electrode layer 104 and a transparent substrate 105 are successively laminated on at least a substrate 101 toward the light extraction side. The scattering layer is formed of activation-energy beam curable resin, and has plural projections having arc-shaped cross-sections arranged at non-uniform sizes along the light extraction surface. The activation-energy beam curable resin contains a first composition formed of base resin material which forms a cured material by an activation-energy beam polymerization reaction, a second composition formed of polymerization initiator, and a metal alkoxide composition.</p> |
