<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a steering device which reduces hammering noise generated at the release of the fastening of a clamp mechanism, and is high in operability.SOLUTION: A steering device comprises: a shaft rod 25 which is bridged to a vehicle body attachment bracket 22 for supporting a steering column 2; a fixed cam member 26 and a movable cam member 27 which make opposing cam protrusions 30, 33 engaged with each other, and move the shaft rod to an axial direction in cooperation with each other; and a clamp mechanism having an operation lever 28 which moves the movable cam member. A buffer member 50 is arranged between a back face 30b of the cam protrusion 30 of the fixed cam member 26 and a back face 33b of the cam protrusion 33 of the movable cam member 27.</p> |
