The present invention relates to a home network system utilizing a conventional interphone. The home network system includes: a body installed in a room; a camera installed on the body to record the room; a CPU which is installed on the body to control the camera to transmit a recorded image to a mobile terminal connected through wireless communications, be connected to a conventional outdoor interphone installed on a door through a signal line, control the mobile terminal and the outdoor interphone to exchange audio and video signals to enable a video call, and control the home appliances connected through the wireless communications according to a control signal transmitted from the mobile terminal; and a wireless communications unit which is installed on the body to enable the wireless communications between the CPU, mobile terminal, and the home appliances. The present invention can minimize the electrical wiring construction in a building and utilize the conventional interphone to reduce the cost of purchasing interphones again and the discomfort of the electrical wiring construction when the system is built in a house or an apartment building built in advance. The present invention can also increasing the utilization of smartphones to maximize ease of use and provide various functions and excellent scalability. |
