PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique which is advantageous of preventing flow-in of minority carriers into a photoelectric conversion portion.SOLUTION: A solid-state image pickup device has plural photoelectric conversion portions formed in a first conduction type first semiconductor region, a first conduction type first part that is formed in the first semiconductor region and applies first potential to the first semiconductor region, and a second conduction type second semiconductor region which receives second potential different from the first potential. The first part is formed between adjacent first photoelectric conversion portion and second photoelectric conversion portion out of the plural photoelectric conversion portions, and the second semiconductor region is formed between each of the first photoelectric conversion portion and the second photoelectric conversion portion and the first part. |
