PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a normally-open type pressure regulating valve which can set the pressure of a common rail to a pressure at which retreat traveling becomes possible, even if electricity-conduction to a solenoid coil becomes impossible due to disconnection or the like.SOLUTION: A normally-open type pressure regulating valve 1 includes push-out means 35 which can forcibly push out an armature 21 and a rod 4 in a valve closing direction at non electricity-conduction to a solenoid coil 20. Therefore, even if electricity-conduction to the solenoid coil 20 becomes impossible due to disconnection or the like, a valving element 5 can be moved in the valve closing direction by pushing out the armature 21 and the rod 4 by the push-out means 35. By this configuration, a flow rate of high-pressure fuel discharged from a common rail can be throttled, and the pressure of the common rail can be set to a pressure at which retreat traveling becomes possible. |
