PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a support device for reduction gear in a railway vehicle free from coming off even by oscillation of the reduction gear.SOLUTION: In a support device for reduction gear in a railway vehicle, one end 20 has a fitting pin 30 penetrating the mounting hole formed on a bracket 22 of a reduction gear 42, and the engagement plates 24 and 25 engaging with both ends 31 and 32 of the fitting pin 30. The device is characterized in that: (a) both the ends 31 and 32 of the fitting pin 30 are formed in a quadrangular prism shape, and taper faces 311, 321 of a pin side is formed on the surface of the other end side; and (b) the engagement plates 24 and 25 have a square groove having one opened face, and taper faces 241, 251 of the engagement plate side is formed on the surface facing the taper faces 311, 321 of the pin side of the square groove. |
