<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a collector for electrochemical cells which allows for more effective use of an active material, and a manufacturing method therefor.SOLUTION: Since a plurality of recesses 3 having a bottom 2 are formed in the surface of a collector 1, the collector 1 can house an electrolyte in the recesses, and high liquid retention is ensured. By forming the recesses 3 so that each opening space is different depending on the position in the thickness direction, a conductive path is formed in the thickness direction of the collector 1, and the collector 1 functions even if it is made thick. By providing falling prevention parts 4 which are provided so as to projected toward the inner surface of the recesses 3 and prevent the active material from falling, the active material carried on the collector 1 is prevented from falling by means of the falling prevention parts 4. Accordingly, the active material is less likely to fall, and the collector 1 allows for more effective use of the active material.</p> |
