<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an event information notification system capable of avoiding notifying a user of confusing and unnecessary event information for the user.SOLUTION: Provided is an event information notification device which comprises: a receiving unit for receiving event information detailing the content of a prescribed event which has occurred in a given area; a notification unit for notifying a user of the event information; and a control unit for controlling the notification of the event information depending on registration information registering a particular person. When the receiving unit receives the event information, the control unit determines if the person registered in the registration information is present in the area where the event has occurred (S1). Based on the determination result, the control unit determines if the user needs to be notified of the occurrence of the event (S2). When determining that the user needs to be notified, the control unit controls the notification unit to notify the user of the occurrence of the event (S3).</p> |
