<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system capable of quickly acquiring a highly reliable focus detection result during display of an HDR image or during photographing of the HDR image.SOLUTION: An imaging apparatus changes gain to be set in an image to be outputted to an AF evaluation value acquisition circuit to gain to be set in an image to be outputted to a moving picture image generation circuit for generating a moving image by combining a plurality of image data obtained from an imaging device 115 so that when focus detection means is being actuated, an exposure value of the image to be outputted to the AF evaluation value acquisition circuit becomes previously determined proper exposure by changing set exposure of the imaging device 115 controlled by exposure control means.</p> |
