<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an on-vehicle communication system capable of simplifying user operation, and a communication control method.SOLUTION: The on-vehicle communication system includes an on-vehicle device 2 and a communication apparatus 3. When stopping a vehicle, the on-vehicle device 2 transmits a predetermined signal to the communication apparatus 3. The communication apparatus 3 includes a radio communication section 34 for receiving the predetermined signal by wirelessly communicating with the on-vehicle device 2 being present within a predetermined distance, and a control section 30 for switching validity/invalidity of a radio communication function of the radio communication section 34. Upon receiving the predetermined signal, the control section 30 acquires stop position information of the vehicle and records the information in a storage section 32. When the radio communication function is invalidated, the control section 30 determines whether positional information received by a GPS receiving section 35 is matched with the recorded stop position information and if it is determined that the positional information is matched with the stop position information, the radio communication function of the radio communication means is validated.</p> |
