PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drive apparatus control device capable of automatically stopping a drive apparatus when the drive apparatus control device cannot normally communicate with a host control device any more.SOLUTION: A drive apparatus control device 1 includes: a storage section 12 which stores control information for executing one operation step of a drive apparatus; a communication section 11 by which, it is determined whether a control command is received from a host control device and when control information is included in the received control command, the control information is written into the storage section 12; an output section 13 for outputting a control signal corresponding to the control information stored in the storage section 12 to the drive apparatus; a time counting section 16 by which the lapse of time from predetermined timing is counted and when the lapse of time reaches a predetermined time, the output of the control signal from the output section 13 is stopped; and a communication monitoring section 15 by which, each time the communication section 11 determines that the control command is received, the lapse of time counted by the time counting section 16 is reset to an initial value. |
