PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid cartridge that can surely communicate an inside of the cartridge with the atmosphere before liquid becomes dischargeable, requires little force for mounting and has a simple structure, and a liquid supply device.SOLUTION: When a valve body 77 of an ink cartridge 30 is in a first state, a first sealing part 84 shuts off flow of gas between openings 61 and 64 and a second sealing part 85 is positioned closer to a seal member 70 than the openings 61 and 64. When the valve body 77 is in a second state, a third sealing part 105 is closely adhered to a peripheral wall surface of a penetration hole 71, and the openings 61 and 64 are communicated with each other so that gas can be flown through a space between the first sealing part 84 and the second sealing part 85. When the valve body 77 is in a third state, the third sealing part 105 is separated from the peripheral wall surface of the penetration hole 71 of the seal member 70 and a communication hole 104 of an ink needle 102 enters a valve interior 47 so that an inner space of the ink needle 102 and the valve interior 47 are communicated with each other. |
