PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a signal processing technique in which a calculation cost of a matching unit is more reduced than before.SOLUTION: A signal processing device comprises: an instance model storage unit 105 in which a segment which is a sequence of index of a Gaussian distribution in a Gaussian mixed distribution, for applying the maximum likelihood to feature quantity of each frame of a predetermined signal, is stored in a state where only at least a predetermined number of frame parts from the beginning of each frame are expressed by a tree structure; and a matching unit 103 which searches for a segment applying the maximum posterior probability to a feature quantity sequence of an input signal with a segment stored in the instance model storage unit 105 and having an arbitrary length where a root node of the tree structure is set to be a start point, as a candidate.
