<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent biasing force of a specified movable tooth from being remarkably reduced by displacing each of divided segments in a circumferential direction when a ring-like spring means for biasing a chain engaging movable tooth in a radial outer direction is fixed.SOLUTION: In this invention, when ring-like spring means 19 are fitted in corresponding circumferential grooves 18b of movable tooth guides 18 at the outer circumference of a pulley center boss part 16, a ring-like spring means 19-1 to be fitted in advance of the two ring-like spring means 19 is fitted in the corresponding circumferential grooves 18b of the movable tooth guides 18 at a rotating position where a divided part V is positioned between optional adjoining movable tooth storing grooves 18a of the movable tooth guides 18 as shown at (a). Then, as shown at (b), a ring-like spring means 19-2 to be fitted is fitted in the corresponding circumferential grooves 18b of movable tooth guides 18 at a rotating position where the divided part V is spaced apart by 180° in a circumferential direction in respect to the divided part V of the already fitted ring-like spring means 19-1 and which has a phase displacement to be an opposite position in a diameter direction.</p> |
