<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a construction method for a pier, which enables early construction, and a steel pipe cap for use in the same.SOLUTION: A construction method for a pier includes the steps of: arranging a steel pipe pile 2 in the ground; fixing a steel pipe cap 10 to a head of the steel pipe pile 2; placing a stringer 3 on the steel pipe cap 10; and placing foot protection concrete 6 for the steel pipe pile 2. In the steel pipe cap 10, a through-hole 13 communicating with an inner space of the steel pipe pile 2 is formed in a position to avoid the stringer 3. The foot protection concrete 6 is placed on a lower end of the steel pipe pile 2 by utilizing the through-hole 13.</p> |
