<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printing ink composition that uses an environmentally friendly material capable of contributing to suppressing global warming (reduction of CO2 emission) and that can suppress shrinkage and hardening of a rubber roller and a blanket of a printing machine as much as possible with regard to factors relating to an ink, while maintaining a balance between stability on a printing machine and drying property in a conventional printing system, and to provide a printed matter using the printing ink composition.SOLUTION: A printing ink comprising a pigment, a resin for a varnish, and a solvent is provided, in which the solvent comprises a non-aromatic petroleum solvent, a vegetable oil, and a fatty acid ester obtained by esterification of a regenerated oil subjected to a regeneration process with alcohol.</p> |
