<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve slidability of a chassis to correctly operate an optical disk drive device without increase in the number of components.SOLUTION: An optical disk drive device includes: a traverse chassis 51 for holding a turn table 52; a primary axis 54 and a secondary axis 55 that are held by the traverse chassis and extend in a first direction so that part of them protrudes from the traverse chassis; an optical pickup slidably held in the first direction via the primary and the secondary axes; and a cam slider 61 that has slots 65 and 66 into which the primary and the secondary axes protruding from the traverse chassis are inserted and changes the position of the traverse chassis from a first position to a second position higher than the first position by sliding the primary and the secondary axes inserted into the slots.</p> |
