<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic vending machine capable of replenishing a commodity inside a commodity storage passage through an opened side surface and preventing a sellout lever from being damaged, while detecting a sellout in a state that the commodity is left on the lowest end inside the commodity storage passage.SOLUTION: An automatic vending machine is configured to include: a commodity storage device 4 having a commodity discharge mechanism 10 for discharging a commodity A at the end part of a commodity storage passage 2 one by one. The commodity storage passage 2 can be opened by at least one side surface that opens a storage door 9, and the commodity can be stored and replenished in a vertically stacked state in a sideways attitude. A sellout lever 35 contacting the commodity and detecting a sellout of the commodity being the second from below in the commodity storage passage 2 is disposed inside the commodity storage passage 2 in an advancing/retreating manner, and a cover body 41 for covering a spot corresponding to an advancing/retreating position of the sellout lever 35 in the side surface openable of the commodity storage passage 2 is provided.</p> |
