<p>The present invention relates to a light emitting device and a method for fabricating a light emitting device. The light emitting device includes: a substrate having a penetration groove; a first conductivity type semiconductor layer which is filled in the penetration groove and is formed on the upper part of the substrate; an active layer on the first conductivity type semiconductor layer; a second conductivity type semiconductor layer on the active layer; a second electrode formed on the second conductivity type semiconductor layer; and a first electrode which touches the lower part of the first conductivity type semiconductor layer. According to the configuration, the present invention provides a light emitting device capable of improving light efficiency by increasing a surface light emitting area, and a method for fabricating a light emitting device.</p> |
